Cherry Chicken Croissants Recipe

I had a similar chicken salad at a restaurant and created my own version. It may seem like an odd combination, but the ingredients work really well together. My children love it, and it only takes a few minutes to cut everything up, so easy!

Ingredients :
2 cups diced cooked chicken
3 celery ribs, chopped
1/2 cup dried cherries
1/2 cup chopped California Walnuts
1/2 cup halved green grapes
8 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
1/2 cup mayonnaise
6 croissants, split

In a large bowl, combine the first 7 ingredients. Serve on croissants.

Test Kitchen tip :
If you don't keep dried cherries on hand, dried cranberries would also taste wonderful.
Health tip :
Croissants make these sandwiches special, but you can switch to whole wheat bread and save nearly 100 calories per serving.
