French Toast Recipe
Ingredients :
6 slices day-old ciabatta bread
1 cup Califia Farms Holiday Nog Almondmilk
1 tablespoon maple syrup
2 tablespoons ground flaxseed
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
½ teaspoon cinnamon
Pinch of salt
Coconut oil spray, for cooking
Sliced strawberries, for serving

Instructions :
1. In a large shallow bowl, whisk together the almondmilk, maple syrup, flaxseed meal, cinnamon, salt and vanilla extract. Allow mixture to set and thicken for 10 minutes.
2. Whisk mixture again. Then, place a slice of bread into the shallow bowl and push the bread into the mixture to make sure the bread is coated, but not soaked.
3. Heat a large griddle on medium heat, spray with coconut oil and place the drenched slices of bread on the pan. Cook the French toast until they’re golden brown on the bottom, about 3-5 minutes, then flip over and cook until the other side is golden brown, another 3-5 minutes.
4. Serve warm with maple syrup and fresh fruit.
