English Scones


Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 4 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 6 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2/3 cup whole milk
- 1 egg
- Another large egg for brushing the scone before baking

Instructions:
- Hand mix all the ingredients.
- Let the dough rest for 30 mins in fridge.
before rolling and cutting.
- Do not overwork the dough or the scone will be very dense.
- Roll the dough to about an inch thick and cut them into small pieces
- Brush them with egg
- Bake in the oven at 220 degrees C for 12-15 mins.
